Hello fellow barbeloids, I'm taking a course at the university where I have to write several discourses about different computer and society related stuff. One of them is:

"Compare two different online societies "nettverksfelleskap" or fora (forums?) on the web where users can be part of and contribute to discussions and debates. What functions do these fora/forums have for the digital commons?"

First I have to come up with some angles on how to do the discourse. Then, I was wondering if some of you were willing to give me some PM-interviews (totally anonymous of course) where you answer some online forum related questions. The discourse will be written in Norwegian and it won't be published online or elswhere. It's an exam.

Anybody willing to be my lab-monkey? Don't be shy. It won't take long and it'll only be about five questions to answer.

I've not been lithing very much for the last couple of weeks. These are busy days, but I thought an update on the exam project would be appropriate, so here it comes:

The professor read what I wrote so far and she said it was very good. She likes the interviews you guys gave me and said that they'll propably raise my grade... mwhahahaha!

The final delivery date is now set to december 7th and I just wanted to thank you guys for participating.

AND... since it went so well the last time:

This semester I will write a paper about online distribution of music, digital rights and illegal download/piracy.

I will have to talk to the professor first, but I think it will be fine. I thought, since it went so well on the last exam, that I might repeat the "lets do some interviews"-thingy.

There will be 5-10 questions about a persons download habits (illegal, e-music, did you pay for your copy of the Niggy Tardust album?)

Of course, everything will be anonymous and you can pick your paper-name yourself. Fun, isn't it?

Anybody interested? I needs 7 people.

prob'ly be pretty useless at this one as i don't tend to get sounds from the 'net, but if you feel you want attitudes towards it as much as practioning of it, pm away... (that said, my demanding lover buys through i-tunes and stuff, and a previous DL's son used to get stuff from one of those megasites that got slammed...)
