MattShepherd: I WEDDED KALI!

One of the graphic designers at work helped me work this up a few weeks ago; I'd been looking for a sort of icon I could create to illustrate the codependence of technology and biology in today's mad world; animals evolving to live in man-altered environment, etc.

Here it is:

more or less actual size. Left shoulder, probably, to match the London Underground tattoo on my right.

I like it; Kali isn't so crazy about it. What do you think?

Interesting design, nice idea too.

Little creepy looking but I like the concept behind it.

I like it. But even a consensus of a thousand people on the internet isn't as important as the approval of the person you're engaged to, I reckon.

Hmm. Well, a few calls later, turns out the two best places in town are booked for at least a week. How do people get tattoos on a whim any more?

Industrial Trilobites are cool!

It's a sort of future Chad, isn't it? You could get "cyber-Kilroy woz 'ere" inked underneath it...

Or inside the sprocket. Whoa.

I don't know what "Future Chad" means, but I imagine it's a lot like my friend Chad in the future. And Chad's all right, so cool.

The chap at the top is a Chad.

I always thought that was Kilroy, but I guess that wouldn't make any sense, would it?

Would you happen to have that same image in higher res.?

I mean, the tattoo, not Kilroy

DM, it's probably not cool to nick other people's tattoo ideas quite so blatantly, dude.

In a sense, yes.

If you've already got your design sorted and you're totally happy with it, then you probably don't need to go to the best tattooist in town - they might well turn you down as alot of the best tattooists are only interested in doing custom work which they've designed nowadays. You just need to find a tattooist with a good solid reputation who's capable of following the lines you already have, and that shouldn't be too difficult at all. Incidentally, is there going to be any colouring/shading etc? Post a pic back here if/when you get it done.
