| All of the information that I have about the New Gods I have obtained from snippets of 'lithers,the few comics I have read, and teh back of sugar packets. Maybe this actually belongs in the Mister Miracle thread so here it goes: Darkseid and the dude with the Aristole beard are locked in MORTAL KOMBAT one representing all that is good and the other all that is bad or you can argue that is it a case for highlands and nature versus technological superiority.A truce of sorts is reached-Darkseid gives up his son Orion to be raised by the High Father and he in turn takes Mister Miracle to raise as his own. Well, not so much as raise but tortured on a planet that makes North Korea look like Disneyland and he is trying to constantly deconstruct the lad.why? Because maybe, just maybe, wrapped in the genetic code of Scott Free lies the anti-life equation, the one thing that Darkseid seeks to obtain but he can't get his hands on it until Scott'd body flatlines and offers up its secrets. Would this explain why Scott can escape any trap? Anti-life seems to provide him with the pocketed handcuff key or combination everytime. But do others around Scott Free suffer death or horrible misfortune? I think that this would make an excellent series in which Mister Miracle is placed n a situation where he needs to escape but if he does someone must pay the price(of death or whatever) in his place. It could be a random parademon or an innocent bystander. When the anti-life butterfly flaps its wings it could send reciprocal repercussions throughtout the universe.Does this sound too much like Yorick Brown? |
