Great free places in London for a photo shoot?

I have to do a classical 1950s/modern formal photo shoot for a friend and was wondering whether anyone could recommend some good cafes/bars in London with incredible decor?

I'm looking for antique/decadent-style decor with nice couches, lighting, etc. They don't necessarily have to be free, just not thousands of pounds.

It's not very decadent, but the New Picadilly cafe on Denman Street, right beside Picadilly Circus, is a genuine, faithfully preserved 1950's cafe, right down to the candy-pink espresso machine and the formica tables.

Maybe Louis Patisserie in Hampstead?

It's a bit dark, the furniture is pretty antique, it has comfy benches along the walls but mostly the cake is just yummo! You cross the road at the lights out of Hampstead tube and walk along the road that goes across rather than down the hill. It's on the left, you'd want to check it out. The photo is a different branch of the same patisserie.

(...it sounds to me like you might want the promenade bar in the Dorchester though, which obviously is problematic.)

Thanks guys!

Anne - the Promenade in the Dorchester is a little too bright - these shots need to be evening shots with dark couches.
