Now, you see, I'm a trusting, community minded kind of guy, so I thought to myself why not start a thread that will build on my virtuous ideals?

I didn't start this thread because I'm in desperate need to a bigger tent for my stag weekend* in two weeks - one with a porch 'n' stuff, say 2-3 man - and had run out of options. No sir, I wouldn't do something like that.

I'll pay for the postage, obvs...

I've got a 2-man dome tent. It's a decent size, but I fear you may require something bigger?

Mine's a 2-man dome, but cheers anyway, 7s

Well, you could take yours and mine?

It's been through at least one stag weekend, but it's in good nick.

A tent, do you say?

Nah, don't worry about it, Quads. It's a tent built for the job or nothing, I'm afraid.

One of the great lessons of Burning Man (and there are many): Wal-Mart has a surprisingly liberal return policy.

And some really amazingly useful shade structures.

It's kind of like a rental, only you get your money back, too.

We don't have Walmart, and tents are a seasonal product at Asda apparently. Our local (a big one) has recently run out of stock.

I got a really cheap tent at the massive, city-sized Tesco that opened up not far from here. All their camping stuff was dirt cheap and really good quality.

They've sold out too...

'Salright, though, this thread might've borne fruit afterall

Okay, this thread has worked for me. The deal was done by the magic of PM.

Yipee!
