Has anybody seen Disturbia? I saw it yesterday, and to my surprise I must say I liked it.
The movie is some kind of modernized version of Hitchcock's "Rear Window" (which is one of my favourites), where a teenage boy (Shia LeBoef, the guy from "Transformers" and "Indiana Jones 4") is put on house arrest for hitting a teacher.
After spying on his neighbours he discovers a possible murder and together with his friend and his girlfriend he's trying to find out what's really going on...and so on, and so on
Although I can watch "Rear Window" several times without getting bored, I think "Disturbia" is one of those "only exciting once"-movies.
Also, I noticed Apple is making bigger moves. The main character in this movie has a MacBook Pro, just like "Dexter" and I think the geek guy from "Die Hard 4" had one as well. |
