Hello members of barbelith. My name is Christina.

I'm 25 years old and live in Norway. At the moment im a web design and informatics student. In my spare time I'm working on illustrating a childrens book and making a web site for a Norwegian artist/craftswoman.

OK... well... Hello everybody and thank you for your time.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy

Hey Christina! Welcome to the Lith. You'll find a barbenautical diving helmet under your seat, and guest passes to board the Lateshift threads if you feel like it. Perhaps you'd care to post some of your children's illustrations to the Creation?

Hi Christina, welcome, what do you think about the potential for mankind to live in artificial habitats in space?
Also, you'll find plenty of fabulous artists here to share things with I think, the creation forum is a very cool place to check out. Come by the Temple, too, and discuss gods and magic and coincidence and stuff.

Alex's Grandma

Christina, if you don't mind me asking, which celebrity do you most resemble?

(People often say I look a bit like Gloria Swanson at the end of 'Sunset Boulevard')

Heather Langenkamp, me. No lie.

I did sometimes wonder what Matt S looked like, IRL.

And now I know.

And yet...I STILL LURRVVVE HIM!

Alex's Grandma
01:24 / 04.08.07
Of course, of course. I'm not the sort of person who wants to stand between anyone and true love.

It's just ... what if Matt S is one of those colourful eccentrics who have a ... complicated relationship with his partners if they're still alive while he's wining and dining them? I mean I'm sure he isn't, but then again, Matt is perhaps best known for his writing on the subject of the undead.

Congrats, anyway, on the engagement!

Oh sweet Lord, I'm meant to be a zombie, aren't I?

Alex's Grandma

He might love you more if you killed yourself, I suppose.

But really, aren't relationships about compromise, up to a point? It may not be ideal for Matt if you're still drawing breath when you walk down the aisle, but it's not just his special day, is it? It's yours, too.

Call me an old romantic, if you will.

You've been watching that Psychomania film again, haven't you, Granny (Smith)?

Tea's a jolly good idea, actually.

Hi Christina!

Well, hello again everybody and thanks for the nice greetings and questions.

Let's see

Gourami: The book is about a boy and the animals that are living in the Norwegian forrest. I am going to combine some traditonal norwegian art with my own stuff...and digitalize it.

Papers: the illustrations will be posted asap.

Mark VII Super Quantum E-Meter: Hello

Mark E Smith: I don't know which celeb I resemble. But in Highschool there were two people who said that I look like one of the Fraggles. But that might also have been because of the red (coloured) hair and the hat I was wearing at that time...

Thanks again for all the hellos. That's very kind of you.

Hello christina!

I have just been in Norway and picked lots of wild blueberries. It was ace.

And don't believe that Nolte's a Nordman--he sounds too much like a Brummy.

The book sounds charming. I'm going to see if I can find what traditional Norwegian art looks like, I don't think I've seen any. I'm imaging figures of warmly-dressed people with embroidered clothes, for some reason.

Hmm... actually a good idea for one of the illustrations (which is going to be a farmer cupple). But mainly I was thinking about norwegian rosemaling.
