Faithful myrmidions,
This Sunday (being the fifth of August) there will be a special event at Hector's House in Brighton. It will last all day (from 1pm 'til 11pm) and showcase the finest in Brighton's large and horrible Scum-rock scene.
Bands include Burning Idiot Noise (that's me and ma' boys), the mighty Grizzly Giant (let's say that name again shall we? GRIZZLY GIANT!), Mister Jack Cooper, the improv terror spunk of Passiondale, Fokkewolf and more DJs than you can wave a flipper at.
As stated before it starts about 1(ish) and goes on all day. There is no charge on the door but people will be asked for donations to help cover the inevitable costs.
Also we will be showcasing the delights of 'Band in a Hat', in which all participants have their names put in a hat which is drawn from randomly. Said participants must then take the stage and improvise a song from scratch.
It should be top fun, and I hope to see as many of you there as possible. |
