I’m in Southampton this Friday and was inclined to go for a few drinks in the evening before toddling back to Brighton. I used to post as meme buggerer and know a few of you, but it’s been ages. Is anyone about or doing anything? Are there bands playing or anything? Was in Southampton once before on a weekend night and it seemed a bit like Saving Private Ryan but with Ben Sherman shirts... Only jokin’, I’m just a weedy bastard who can’t handle it... but any insights people can offer would be appreciated.

That was a really fun night. Your work party was cool, squirmelia, and not just for the free booze. But yeah, I think the brakes came off at quite an early point in the evening for me anyway. Thanks for your general kindness and coolness.

3 people - oops, sorry Seth, 2 people = exodus!! I will soon be the only person left in Southampton! Shops will close, there'll be boarded up houses everywhere, weeds and wildlife in West Quay (actually that would be quite cool), vampires...
