It is the summer, and this means that I am going to stand around squinting like some kind of moron unless I buy some sunglasses quite soon. However! I have been to Topshop. I have been to H&M. I have been to Dorothy Perkins, and I cannot find a SINGLE PAIR of sunglasses that I want to wear. Most of them are bigger than my actual face. When I am at work in my office job I can wear clothes well within the confines of a dress code that indicate quite unambivalently that I enjoy the music of MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE and the films of TIM BURTON. Why can I not convey such a message in the context of SUMMERTIME BEACH FUN? Where should I be shopping, that I am not?

At the risk of sounding HOPELESSLY OUT OF TOUCH, how about Camden Market?

If you can get through THE HORDES, that is.

That is actually an EXCELLENT IDEA. As well as fighting hordes it will require me to use the NORTHERN LINE, but it might well be worth it for a pair of sunglasses I want and will like.

You could get the BUS, which is really easy and quite PLEASANT if you have some time to spare!

Or Spitalfields Market has splendid ones too. I feel like my letters are too small.

Or perhaps if you are glutton for punishment you take the HAMMERSMITH & CITY LINE to Ladbroke grove and have browse round Portobello Road market on a saturday....
