Nobody punctuates better. I laughed, told all my friends, then thought about it and chuckled for several hours.

I agree.

Elijah's LOLing sets the tone, but it's Allecto's response that punches it home.

That phrase! "Rocks"! Ah! We're in for a great night.

"great night."

It's the use of html that does it for me with that one.

It may be months before we see a classy quote like that "STOP" again. I mean, it's all caps and everything! All caps! All of the letters! The whole word! And such a sturdy - dare I say glisteningly manly? - forceful word, at that.

Decadent's priceless fawning over Sibelian in the self-contained barbequotes thread makes me beam and squirm in equal measure.

I thought Ognarud Suitangi-Ognajd's "You guys! Kill me!" had an interesting amount of doubling. Two sentences of two words each, with punctuation mark made of two parts, and all of it fraught with internal drama.

Yo!'s use of the obvious to force the word 'two' into a category is just splendid in its simplicity!

Keggers! The way you were using vowels in that sentence - the o and the e especially - wow, that's blindingly good stuff. Made me gag, and I almost blew coffee at the screen. The keyboard got sticky, but at least I can still see the genius letter arrangement!

"The keyboard got sticky, but at least I can still see the genius letter arrangement!"

How eloquently you told Keggers not to throw his pearls before swine, thereby lifting this thread to a new level of elegancy! It surely must trigger a fresh and amazing semiotic breakthrough, that will lay the groundwork for new spheres of cerebral excellency!
