Wouldn't it be good if mods, when disagreeing an action proposed, had to fill in a "reason for disagreeing" box? It wouldn't stop their "disagree" action going through, but it would maybe make people think a bit more about what they were doing?

I know this isn't gonna happen any time soon, if ever, but wouldn't it be good if we pretended like it had? The recent stuff with the "picture of bloke in hood considered serious Comics thread material" malarkey makes me wonder...

I try to PM whomever sent out the initial request, if I disagree. And other mods have been kind enough to PM me when they deny something I've requested.

I guess I assumed that was how it's done.

I also PM the person who generated the material, when I think the material needs modding. Stoats is right, clicking to approve doesn't seem to need backing up, but to disagree probably should have it.
