For a new perspective on the Alien likeness,it might be worthwhile to figure out how they see us,in our states of change from one day to the next.
An alien that can undergo metabolic transmutation based on how people are percieving them might be the new paradigm. Are you afraid?-Then be prepared to see something truly horrific. What if you can control your fear? Then you might see something beautiful emerge from something really ugly. There is no real form, but there is intelligence.
We've undergone cultural standardization of the Alien meme, and its so clouded by associative meaning we've forgotten to dream other possibilities. We assume that we have experienced every scientific element, but there may be gaps in the periodic table that we can't detect.
So proud of our Hubble radio images and our detection of sodium in a nearby star system,we overlook possibly more important elements because it would take an accident of some kind to find them.
A new Alien might similary appear on the scene and be considered 'new wave',by unintentionally being a representation of our true selves uncluttered by experiential prejudice.
Every child coming into the world is part alien. So therfor the more childlike and open we are,the more prepared we are to mutate into alien forms.
