I am in the process of re-posting the pieces of a serial novel I started back in 1999 at http://blackbird.livejournal.com/. The story was well-received by those who came across it on my previous website, and I thought it might be the sort of thing Barbelith readers might be interested in.
In chapter one, a serial killer abducts a small girl from McDonald's. Things get more complicated from there.
