Well, we will need a setting
I've never watched Life on Mars but if all the players have then I'm happy to use it. The first thing you would do is answer various questions from me about this Gene Hunt character.
Alternatively, the setting could be the default: Gothic Europe, think Dracula, Frankenstein, House of Usher.
Or almost anything. I've run a Wild West setting before now. The common factor is that there is a master, and you will play his or her minions.
For people who hven't played I would recommend the default setting, for one game at least.
