Post to this thread or Mordant’s head will explode!

Wyrdboyz dislike being around other Orks as the pure energy given off unconsciously by other Orks can build up in them and eventually results in an 'Eadbang if it can't be discharged safely. Wyrdboyz discharge their energy in the form of a wave of energy erupting from its mouth much like vomiting fire. While the Wyrdboy feels a lot better for this, those around him are unlikely to feel the same way. To this end, Wyrdboyz are forced to live away from the rest of the Ork settlement. They live in large houses raised off of the ground on long copper poles which help to channel their psychic power into the ground, like a wire conducts electricity. The 'Weirdhouses' are guarded at all times and Wyrdboyz aren't allowed to wander the camp without an escort of a couple of guards, or 'Minderz'.

Wyrdboyz, when allowed out but not in battle, wear gaudy clothes and large hats to mark them out from other Orks, so they can be easily avoided. They carry copper staffs around to help earth themselves to prevent a psychic buildup. If a Wyrdboy is caught in the middle of a group of excited Orks, things will quickly go from bad to worse and furniture will start flying around the room and guns will fire along with a variety of other strange things.

The 'Eadbang occurs when a Wyrdboy cannot let go of his built up power. Literally, their heads explode, and the psychic feedback can destroy the minds of other Orks as well. This is another reason for staying away from a Wyrdboy.

You’re all Soulless… SOULLESS!!!

Anyway, on with actual miniature magic!

The Hive Mind is a greatly mysterious object. No one has ever seen it but every person with any psychic ability can feel it. Every attempt by a Psyker, even by some of the most powerful, to make contact with the Hive Mind invariably results in insanity or death, either because it would require an incredibly powerful psyker to withstand the Hive Mind's awesome psychic presence or because the nature of the Hive Mind is beyond the understanding of human beings.

Imperial techno-magi believe that Hive Tyrants form the repository of the Hive Fleet's collective consciousness, which means they completely embody the Hive Mind but their destruction does not in any way diminish its presence. They are also highly psychic and closely related to the Hive Mind, acting as control nodes for those lesser beings all around them.
