The "Sixth Annual International Festival of Science Fiction and Fantastic Film" is to be held 2-6 May at the Apollo Cinema in the West End's famous London. Highlights are to include the premiere of 28 Weeks Later, but the principle point of interest for hollow-eyed genre goblins like me and I trust you is to be the three all-nighters on Saturday the 5th: Mystery Science Theatre 3000, Hammer and Anime.

I'm going to the last of these as it's to feature the widely anticipated Paprika, as well as the new feature-length Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex movie, Solid State Society. Both of these as well as others are to be seen at other times during the festival, but I'm wondering if any other among the 'Lith's UK-based anime-loving community would be up for such an event.

For the full festival programme, go here.

Interested! I'm often travelling down to London these days so it'll be fairly easy for me to be there, probably between the 4th and 6th.

If any Barbanimepeople are still interested and can make it, there may still be tickets available for the anime all-nighter, starting around 11pm tonight. Ice cream and Red Bull to be laid on!
