After falling through the floor cracks a few months after I'd signed up for a Barbelith shake, after a torture session that stretched right until The Year Of The Pig (whooooooooo, me year!) but let me not bore you with the details.

Now with the 'net finally up in my new house, this morning before I jet off to my evil job (so very anti-Invisibles, I love it) I realised that I had to stop lurking around the forums, which I have for the past few weeks - but I was dithering and thithering between topics, wondering how to make the great jump back into it. Should I post in that What Does Your Fart Smell Like Topic, or that Essay On The Unidentifable Concepts Of Post Modern Chaoism In Comparasion to Neo Paganism? Etc, etc, etc.

There may be some out there like me - after being lost for a few months, and looking around for the Barbelith welcome party to really get those posts off their chests.

So... here goes.

Um, hello. hi.

I used to be a regular Barbelither, many years ago. Seriously, years. Back around the time of the millennium, back when it was still called the Nexus. Before we were all wiped out by the Y2K bug.

When the internet died and all the electrical appliances became sentient, I was forced to leave the house, and I ended up getting a job, starting a family, and developing a social life. By the time the lights came back on Tom had repainted and everyone had changed their names. I didn't take it personally.

But, having taken a long time to discover the world outside my head was perhaps a little over-rated, I've started writing again. So I'm back.

Princess, really, what have you been told about menacing people? Twig, Barbelith is a much more hostile place these days, speaking as a friend you might be wise in seeking out some form of professional protection, just in case something bad happens. If you're interested I know some people…
