Okay, we have a thread for anger, we have a thread for mild annoyance, we have a thread for things that look cute, we have a thread for happiness...what about a thread for things that don't annoy you as such, but make you feel a deep, unstoppable tsunami of sarcasm and the urge to say 'for fuck's sake' welling within you, usually at the sheer stupidity of something?
I'll give you an example to start this off: I'm watching the news this morning, and they're on about some school which they think is 'the school of the future.' What was its futuristic innovation? No set classes? Ten-minute lessons? Smart drugs for all? No: the Incredible Innovation of teh Future was that they had a website. Where pupils could email the teachers to ask for help.
Yes: their futuristic, sci-fi innovation was that the school had a website and e-mail. The technology of 1997, today!
