I went for a wonderful hike today. It's been very cold for a few weeks now, a longer cold spell than we've had for years. We came upon a spot where a small stream was falling over a 30 foot cliff, but it had built up over the last few weeks into a huge, beautiful ice formation. And it was surrounded by uncut forest.
