Oh she'd probably just had enough of this tawdry, workaday world, with all it's baubles and law suits. And who can blame her?

I quite liked her because she seemed content to just be - the odd avoidable TV series and movie appearance aside, she never seemed to have that thing about shoving her personality down Joe and Jane Public's throat via a depressing series of albums, fitness vids and so on. Via anything so gauche as A Career. She never set herself up as a role model for the young people particularly, and for that I salute her.

Also, I think if she'd have met me she'd have got the port and milk stouts in, basically.

It seems an odd thing for a new mother to have done, certainly, if it was suicide ...

But on the other hand, she perhaps couldn't face the idea of being in court, again, for the next ten or so years. And accordingly just judged herself better out of the picture, for the kid's sake.

I'm not saying she was correct, at all, but it's not hard to see how she might have come to that conclusion, after a couple of drinks.

Nothing good I'm afraid. The father listed on the birth certificate is Anna's lawyer/beau, Howard K Stern, and he maintains he is the father. The day she died another ex-beau served her with a court order to submit the baby to a paternity test because he swears he's the father. And now, today, Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband claims to be the father.
