I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I'll definitely be there! Been looking forward to seeing the line-up for ages.

Oh, and single duly downloaded. It's just so bleedin' catchy ...

I'm coming to this, and I'm bringing people!

People?

Oh, you KNOW what people are like. They're rubbish. Bring robots and monkeys and tigers and stuff.

That's what I intend to do, at any rate.

Though if none of them are available, I'll bring people instead.

I'm going to try and come along to this (and bring MBs number one fan!) although, since having moved, the trip home from N16 to SE20 could be a bit of an adventure. I've written a number of letters to Ken Livingstone about the possibility of a thick steel cable running between the TV masts at Alexandria Palace and Crystal Palace but he hasn't got back. I would really like to death slide home after an evening out in N London.

It is an exciting time for Transport For London isn't it. I can't really complain in SE London though as i have i discovered the joy of Trams! Oh, Trams where have you been all my London travelling life!! I can now get a wonderful Tram 3/4 of the way to work in the morning with a quick pause to shout abuse at the Ikea in Croydon. I used to have to get a taxi to do that.

Who would miss this? Fools. I will be there, groupie-ing it up with Brigade up there, and I will endeavour to bring at least one other person.

Any idea what time the Bride will be on? I'm trying to work out whether I can do both this and some of Poptimism... I really do want to hear 'Time Delay' live though.

Hmmm, guessing again here, but around 10pm, given that there are two support acts.

All of these songs sound awesome live - and completely stunning on the new album, believe me.

I bet they have to play "Mother Hackney" more than once too.

That was wicked!

Anyone who missed it not only missed an ace gig, but missed my hamfisted (though apparently well-received) attempts at MC-ing (with jokes an' shit) while WEARING A SUIT.

Your loss, dudes!

'Twas wicked. All the bands were ace, though the place was utterly packed (good for the bands, not so good for visibility) and Mother Hackney was a proper N16 hoedown. Basically, Morning Bride rocked the ass of the proverbial snow leopard.

Sadly, no video of Stoatie's great introduction sections, including the obligatory Nolans joke (though you probably had to be there) - there are photos though.

However, I can offer this video of Morning Bride playing a cover of Lee Hazelwood's "No Train To Stockholm" which segues nicely into "Replica" and also a clip of "Time Delay" as well.

Stoatie wore a suit? Damn, as if I weren't pissed off enough for missing it ...

I'm really sorry (again) for not making it to the gig (again) when I said I would (again). My girlfriend took ill in the middle of the night before and we spent four hours at the A&E so didn't really feel up to singing along and jumping for joy so much as sleeping and being very, very quiet.

Sigh. Next time.

Stoatie in a suit, telling a joke. Or preaching. Give him your money, for the baby Jesus.

Also: The Good Reverend "Stoatie Sebastian James" in a suit. Fucking hell.

Stoatie, I hope they're paying you to wear that suit.
