Wow, just walked in on The Wonder Years, brilliant!

The Wonder Years had fewer misplaced exclamation marks. I like my pedantry a bit less MySpace.

Not you, Harrison. Your exclamation mark denoted an exclamation. It was a correct usage.

Ok, I love you though.

Brilliant! My Dad's just admitted on the phone that he doesn't really understand what post modern means (other than it's the bit that comes after modern). Would anyone like to help him out?

Well, Reid, your dad seems to like me. I had no idea I could be pe-peh-pehdan-tic...yeah, that's it.

I haven't the heart to tell him how low on the Barbelith curve I really am.

Shit me too, his/her/it's dad just invited me round for dinner! I'm going obviously.

Tut, tut. The much-abused, much-overused ellipsis strikes again! This marvellous bit of punctuation, strictly speaking, is used only to omit superfluous words. Perhaps they were after a colon instead?

So, yeah. Has it occurred to them that they won't get anything done if all they do is correct each others' grammar?

Well I'm not entirely sure what they are trying to achieve with it as all they seem to have done is highlight their ignorance is several categories apparently important to them. I suspect the society may have clay feet.

And I don't get invited round to tea anymore (exclamation mark of a sulky child ommitted).
