The appropriation of post modern magical symbols by nationalist groups whatever next.....
As much as the chaos current (ahem) was percieved by some to be a left wing movement it did also attract a kind of right wing DIY satanism, being that it was chaos and open to any kind of influence from the morally and ethically corrupt to the most sublime divinity was this kind of use of its symbolism just destined to happen. Is this kind of phenomena reminiscent of early fascism pulling its ideas and symbols from the intellectual mythologys that were current with young intellectuals as the movement grew (futurists, folklorists,etc.)
More sacred symbols brought into disrepute (swastikas, runes) or just fucking weird that somebody should choose a symbol from an RPG for there nationalist movement. |
