Tann - I don't know if you've been told this yet but all versions of Safari have supported tabbed browsing for quite a while but it is off by default for some ridiculous reason. To turn it on go to Safari / Preferences and click on the 'Tabs' button. You can then turn on tabbed browsing. From then on Apple-T will open a new tab, Apple-W will close it and apple-clicking on a link will open it in a new tab behind your current lot.
Be warned, you rapidly end up with a whole bunch of tabs open and your computer running like a dog and Safari (unlike Firefox when it works) does not save your tab status, so you can't just quit it and then bring them back later and if it crashes you're basically screwed. But it is there. |
