Well. I've had this idea, and I like it, so here goes.
Porn is said to objectify it's models and create an unrealistic idea of sex. I wanted to make porn that didn't. I wanted porn that actually highlighted and revelled in the humanity and individuality of the model.
The answer, obviously, was hypnotherapy.
My process will be this:
1) Do meditational type things with the model. Ask them a range of questions. Record answers.
2)Some days later, meet with the model again. Eploy cut-up, free writing and similar to explore revealed content.
3)With the model, design a concept based on the results of step one and two.
4)Do the photo-shoot with said concept.
5)With the model, collage fragments of steps 1 + 2 into the result.
The final images should be powerful, quirky and completely unique. I've got five models so far, and I'm aiming to be more of a facilitator than a director. If it ever happens, and profits will be split 50/50, which is (I believe) 5% more than actors would normally get.
So, a few questions:
1) Make sense?
2) Is there some ethical land-mine I've just not thought about?
3)Is there anyone here who'd be interested in modelling? I'd be willing to discuss other ways of doing this if you can't do it the way I've suggested. It really doesn't matter what you look like and you will retain the right to remove/reuse your images if you want.
3.5)Is there anyone who want's to get involved in some other way?
4) Does anyone have any idea about relevant pornography or copyright laws
5) Would you pay for my concept porn?
6) How much? |
