A Florida based company is seeking government approval to market an implanted ID Chip. The chip has already been marketed for use in pets for several years. The company decided to press ahead with marketing it for humans after September 11th. IT claims it could foil kidnappings, etc.

Applied Digital has consulted theologians and appeared on the religious television program the ``700 Club'' to assure viewers the chip didn't fit the biblical description of the mark because it is under the skin and hidden from view.
Silly man, don't they know that the barcode is already the Mark of the beast?
