This has been the Bosun's day and what a day it's been. Up at 6.30 and straight onto the new baby walker, and whizzing around the room with a look of steely determination seconds later. 11 hours on and he's finally had his fill of exciting Christmas cheer and has conked out two hours before his scheduled bedtime, minus his dinner. 'Sgonna be a disturbed night, you betcha!
As of right now I'm trying to get drunk. I haven't managed it so far this holiday season which is very, very unlike me. Wish me luck.
Oh, and for all my friends on Barbelith and IRL that might happen to read this. Much love to you all. XXX
Boboss is the best christmas dad evah! Merry santa birthday you parental 'lithers, top marks and a happy yule! I just spent Xmas with someone tiny (it was their first) and it was heartwarming to see the baby loving the festive fun and trying to eat tinsel. Christmas is much more fun with children, and Dr Who was aces!
Now drunkenness!
Merry xmas barbelith! Hope you are all well fed and watered and rosy of cheek and warm of heart.
As a special festive plea, if there are any trustworthy 'lithers in north London seeking a lovely cat (whose devoted owner recently died) to make their 2006 complete, please let me know.
If you would prefer a pair, we probably also have one of them too. The owner was a bit of a cat-magnet...
It is no longer Christmas but I am still feeling festive and finally have 5 minutes on the computer so Happy Christmas everybody! But more importantly I should say happy 28th December, a day that shall now forever be remembered for being nothing in particular but celebrated anyway.
They always want it, are dreaming of it, now it´s there. About five minutes ago, the snow started falling. First a few annoying flakes, now snow flurries are swirling around. Two days late, but that should still be close enough for snow friends?
