I have been playing the Alpha version of this game for a couple of weeks and must say THIS is a beautiful way to use time. The free Beta starts on the 22nd of December (also, it seems this game will have no monthly charges etc. a 'free' game?)

The 17th globe is at your disposal, true global freedom where you can develop/explore/conquer it as you desire. Within lies a multitude of historical locations (the Pantheon in Athens has a couple of wounded poets wandering around), pirate bases, a multitude of creator fields to follow all formed within a 'elegant' framework. It has a certain peace in its gameplay which makes it a true beauty.
I am unsure of any changes being developed for the Beta release, but the Alpha was quite stable and definately impressive. Worth a look (1.2 gig download though) |
