Alright, this is possibly a very silly idea and one that will in all likelihood sink without trace, but i suspect i'm in some sort of manic phase today, so i thought this might be a fun game for all the family...
Basically, the aim of the game is to describe a tune, using as mad, poetic, esoteric and far-fetched metaphors and descriptive gambits you can think of (don't say anything about the person/people who made the tune, or when/where it was created, etc). Everyone else then has to guess what the tune is. Ze who guesses the tune right, gets to describe the next one...
I'll start with a pretty easy one:
this tune resembles a relentless robotic juggernaut of squelchy noises, which is somewhat like what the mutant love-child of The Beastie Boys' "Intergalactic" and Missy Elliott's "Get Your Freak On" might possibly sound like if it was born in a London Underground station after having been concieved in Kraftwerk's secret basement laboratory...
the aim is a) to have fun showing off musical knowledge and/or playing around with creative writing skills, and b) to possibly turn people on to tunes they haven't heard before by getting them to think "bloody hell, what would that sound like?!?!"
