I love this.
(The show, rather than the possibility of no second series!)
I just watched this through for the very first time. In the wrong, chronological order unfortunately (I got confused because the episodes I had were already in the broadcast order, and somebody had recommended I watch them in that order, but I was assuming I would have to do something...).
Anyway, I don't mind that. In fact, I'm kind of glad I did watch them that way because if I hadn't had some sort of resolution after 6 episodes last night I fear I would never have gone to sleep. I appreciated the remaining episodes in a different way afterwards (ponytails etc), but appreciate they would have been more enticing if I'd watched them in the broadcast order.
But then, I like this show so much I feel like I could re-watch the entire thing in that order right now. Or tomorrow. Or when I need a hit of enthusiasm. Or whenever.
I was tremendously impressed at just how much it affected me with the 6-episode main arc, it was just condensed with awesome. Eureka 7 had 50 episodes to build up these feelings, in very different ways obviously, but I was shocked to see this had me develop such strong feelings for the characters so fast. I didnt even realise I was hooked, but I was enthralled.
I can't really put it in to words, it flits between light and serious, ideas and characters, fun, mystery, boredom, enthusiasm and pure POP so easily it pretty much encapsulates everything I probably wanted to see.
Yes. This one is definitely for me. I feel like perhaps I accidentally willed this in to existence without realising it. Which you might say is fairly apt.
Yes. I feel like I could repeat the same babble endlessly, there's so much more...
Yes.
