When I saw Shitmat he ended up getting shut down by the venue and thrown out without getting his money, being told in no uncertain terms by the manager that he should leave quietly with what dignity he had left. Which, given that he'd dropped his trousers and started wanking as part of his set, was saying something. He'd begun his set by playing an MP3 of 'Kiss From A Rose' on his laptop and screaming into the microphone about how Seal had raped him when he was a child. I still couldn't tell you if I thought his show was amazing or awful, it just sort of defied categorisation...
