Cows and milk.

Some unfortunate crackpot will try to milk meaning from a cow that is dry from the truth, the truth being that there is no meaning where there should be milk.

Cheers (and discuss, if your comprehension permits).

Mine, most certainly, does not. However, I would like to flag up a cow called Elsie. She is forbidden to produce milk; in cyberland they only drink diet coke.

"And I lowered myself beneath her and held my mouth to her swollen udder
And sucked the sweetest milk I have ever tasted (slurp)
"CLIMB ONBOARD!" she said

And as a harvest moon rose over Cyberland, we reared back
And sprang into a gallop
Leaping, out of orbit, I awoke singing
.

Now Elsie has been flagged I will most certainly wait for others of greater comprehension to take over. Continue as before.

So it's dry of truth, meaning and milk?

Poor cow.

Some unfortunate crackpot

This thread is a cow. You, dear reader, are the unfortunate crackpot attempting to milk meaning from it.

Speaking of cows, I transitioned back from lactose-free milk to milk-with-lactose the other day. Bad idea. So much gas. That's what it is about milk -- it's the lactose.

(Although I spent five years there drinking soymilk, I can't cope with soymilk anymore. I'm not sure what happened there. And ricemilk? Gross.)

well I got me some unpasterized unhomogenized organic happy cow milk the other day for the first time. It was pretty damn fantastic. I wish I could have a cow pal.

Sorry to hear it is now pretty much illegal in the UK?

For lactose issues I find goat milk does the trick though supposedly some folks do ok with the farm fresh unaltered cow variety as well. If the dyke-wife is up for an experimentI I may try feeding a teaspoon to her. She digs the raw goat milk I get from the farm and we plan on making some epic hot-chocolates this winter.

You know what rocks? Sheep's milk yoghurt. I think if I lived on a farm, I would happily get some sheep and milk them. Goats too, maybe.

yeah there's a huge ground swell here in the states for raw milk. The FDA hates it with a passion.
