Was Eerie Indiana the first hipster TV show?

That 50s vibe, those haircuts, suburban horror, Marshall's sense of cynicism. It's a proposition. Am I wrong?

Hey, you hear the one about the three hipsters who walk into a bar?
Because I heard it before it was cool.

surely by that criteria, it must be Dragnet?

I liked Eerie Indiana, but think that for the most part Hipsterness is difined after the event, it's probably due a little resurgence now.

I think Eerie was more grunge era.

The Grunge/Hipster error is common, the difference being the grunge kids just let their hair get a stupid looking by not caring, rather then paying someone for the cut.

(Ba Dump Cha!)

But really, look at all the FLANNEL in eerie, no way it was hipster.

Eerie was the hipster Wonder Years. True fact. That white haired kid? Andy Warhol. Simon? Harpo Marx. I'm totally with you.
