My good friend's shindig...I'll be there also. Come along!!

Tuesday 31st October – 7pm

SOUTHWARK MYSTERIES presents The Halloween of Cross Bones IX
The ninth annual ritual to honour the spirits of the outcast dead.

SEOne club, Weston Street, SE1
(under London Bridge railway arches) £10; concs. £7.
Doors open: 7pm. No admission after 8pm. (There's no advance booking - and the previous eight Halloweens of Cross Bones all played to full houses. Please come early to make sure you get in!)

At 7pm we meet in SEOne, the atmospheric club in the caverns under the railway arches near London Bridge. The entrance is in Weston Street, about halfway up a long gloomy tunnel is the magic portal into Deep Blue, the three caverns that once formed the heart of the legendary DrOme (now SEOne. According to Crow, it was once the site of the Temple of Isis.)

On entry, you'll be given a ribbon bearing the name of someone buried at Cross Bones. Entry includes free bowl of pumpkin soup. Make your offerings and observances at the Altar To The Ancestors. NB: doors close at 8pm.

The ceremony commences at 08.02 pm. PsychOgeographical initiation with psychOactive poems and songs from The Southwark Mysteries performed by John Constable (aka Crow) with Niall McDevitt and Moksha...

Participatory Samhain Ritual with Priestess Jacqui (Tribe of Avalon)... Tantric Pulse with Priestess Jahnet de Light... Goose Ceremony with John Crow... Group Reading of the Names of The Dead to the chanting of the Heart Sutra...

The ceremony is followed by a procession to the site of Cross Bones graveyard to honour the 15,000 unknown prostitutes and paupers buried there, bringing them light, songs and blessings for their onward journeys.

Please bring your own personal mementoes for the Altar to the Ancestors or to tie to the Cross Bones gates / shrine. Bring photos of lost loved ones, totems of your own spiritual aspirations. Seasonal fancy dress encouraged - though not obligatory.
