With digital video becoming increasingly better, film is becoming a much more democratic medium. But, the more stuff that's out there, the harder it is for your stuff to stand out. So, here's your chance to get your films out to some viewers. Drop a link to stuff you've been involved with.

I'll start it off with my own stuff. I've done a bunch of shorts, and they're all up at www.respectfilms.com. Here's a quick indexing, all the pages have both Youtube and download links:

Key 23 - My Invisibles homage, a riff on the word drug concept

The Perfect Dose - About a man who's transcended to a higher plane of consciousness and his troubles naviigating this world

Do Unto Others - A mutual revenge fantasy in a dreamlike world

And there's some more stuff up here.

So, what else does Barbelith have to offer?

I dug that "Key 23". It felt a bit like Un Chien Andalou with a contemporary horror/video aesthetic. The concept of the drug came across very clearly and your performers sold it.

I can't remember exactly what happens in the Invisibles original, so why is it "LOVE" at the end? Forgiveness, or is this some ultimate torture?

Thanks, it's always good to get feedback on stuff. As for the ending, in The Invisibles version, I believe King Mob defeated him through some psychic plane kung-fu. In mine, I originally meant it to be forgiveness, that even though this other woman's been abusing her, she's not sinking to her level. However, when I was editing it, I decided to play it a bit more ambiguous, so I think either of the interpretations you mentioned work.

I just wrapped up another film, called Universal Traveler, about a scientist working on nanobots that will allow you to travel through time. It's got a score by Barbelith's own Keith 'Masaru' Pishnery, this board is pretty much the target audience for the film, so I'd love to hear what you guys have to think about it.

I have a few short art filmy things I've been making for class.

Drawing. A final project for Creative Digital Media.

The Tower, The Book A work exploring some of my ideas of urban occultism and my personal obsession with parts of Pittsburgh

BeanTreeThreepoint A work about an artist and hir dreams.

They arn't really supposed to make sense, just evoke feelings.

I did a film version of the yet to be released World War Hulk comic event. It's got spiffy music and pretty good action.

This is a link to my short film A Glastonbury Pilgrimage on YouTube. It was improvised at the Glastonbury Festival 2005. It's related to my website, The Church of Chris Martin, where you can get a better quality version.

Production standard's not up to much, but I've got a longer and more professional project in the cutting room just now. Post soon, hopefully. That's enough plugging for just now...

Howdy folks. Here's my spin on the "last man on Earth" concept. It was initially produced (written, shot and edited) in only 2 days for a local competition. It was well-received enough that I spent a few months after that 48 hour blitz to shoot a couple of new scenes, refine the sound-design and tighten up the editing. Comedies are always tough to create, especially on a tight schedule, but we had a blast putting it together. Enjoy!

That was indeed quite amusing.
