Netlabel and Internet music portal Oddio Overplay (hosts of 2004's grotesquely successful Ghouls With Attitude compilation) is currently accepting submissions for a "super CREEPY and SCARY" compilation of original Halloween/Horror-themed music.

"New original songs, stories, audio terrors and artwork will launch October 22nd" - submissions should be received no later than October 20th. For further details, see the invitation page

Barbelith's own Threshold People are already signed up for the project. Who else will step forward to represent the dark side of the 'lith?

She's swell, she is. Very sweet.

On the other hand, I just learned that Jason Moss committed suicide this June. Very strange -- one of the first people I interviewed in the job that I still hold.

I mention this because his voice is in a sample that leads into the song I submitted. He wrote a book about his interviews with John Wayne Gacy. How odd.
