Would anyone be interested in coming to some sort of night out, quite possibly Clique or the Star and Garter (but not neccesarily, though I can guarantee good tunes), in Manchester, sometime in early November, followed by some sort of continuation at Legba's house?

I know it's very vague. Things aren't really planned out yet, but you're very welcome to the eventual event if you can make it and don't mind bumming around with a bunch of 18-20 year olds and yours truly sociopathic.

Hey Legba, I might meet you for a swift half and a birthday squeeze before I scurry off to The Pool. My Sister has recently been mugged by her fertility and I havn't seen her for toooo long. She lives in Manc and I could make a day and evening of it. I am due an adventure I have been a very good woman for too long.

Let me know if your still up for this as things draw near. Maybe some of the other northern 'lithers might show a leg, we know you're out there.

Now then Legba, what's this birthday nonsense about then? Has the prospect of the Free Republic of Litherpool crashing your party made you decide to stay in with a horlicks with the lights off?

Realistically it's unlikely I'll make it after all. Logistics, the thought of being an hour away from my darling rabble leeves me abit queezy, I'm off to Spain in two weeks and am charging my hyper drive and a couple of other duller reasons.

I hope you are getting suitibley twitchy for imminent birthday fun. Make Tiplets nip over and show you his party trick. Seeing is believing... I think you know what I mean.

Arrgh, missed this thread being bumped. Well, as it stands I have Celebration Part 1 (a house party) planned for tomorrow night, which is probably a leetle bit short notice by now, but you're all still welcome to come along, and if you want to, simply PM me for contact details. In my experience Manc's only what, an hour from liverpool by train?- I live only a short 60p bus ride and 7-minute walk from the Manchester stations, so.

Equally, on the 7th, next tuesday, we will be heading out to pubs and things, mostly the bars around the center, for Celebration Part 2, which may be more doable for people. Should people need to stay over that'd probably be cool too.

PM for details! In fact, I may take the liberty of PMing people on this thread pre-emptively.
