I find myself intrigued by this. As a fairweather gamer, I'm occasionally on the lookout for a decent, visually slick run 'n' gun timewaster that still entertains in the hazy, dying hours of the night.

So, Reservoir Dogs. Know ye of this? Cursory searches reveal precious few actual user reviews, some promo pieces and allusions to a violence-free option for the gore-weary. Have you got it? Do you like it? Is it, in short, worth my time?

Just installed it on my PC and, not having played it yet, I'm not entirely qualified to give a comprehensive opinion.

I have played a few minutes of the intro/training level, though, and it's looking OK so far.

While not very slickly executed (can't skip set scenes), the training is interesting and intriguing. With each kill your 'adrenaline' meter increases and when it's maxed out you get the option to instigate a 'bullet festival'.

This involves time dilation (a la Max Payne bullet time), where you can fire off loads of bullets in no time at all, then follow the bullets' progress in a cinematic, camera shifting fashion. Which looks quite cool.

I'll report back more fully once I've actually played it.
