So it seems the time has come for the Falcon to spread his wings, depart the nest and set off for pastures new to sire a brood of his own. Not the sort of thing that can be done without at least a farewell drink. Prescence of as many as is required. That means you, Edinburgians.

So Dunc, you said the house goes on the fifteenth of Sept, but you might be away before then? That means something needs to be done in the next week or so. I think I'll be away from the ninth onwards for my brother's wedding so I won't be able to make it past then.

What days are good for you, seeing as your attendance is the one that's absolutely mandatory?

I think first week of Sept sometime is good, I'm away up to sign the lease this weekend, and the removal men are coming on the 12th, so it's really a pretty small timeframe but sometime within would be aces; pref when the boy toksik gets back from his megabus adventures.

Well Glasgow style, so that probably means either Mono or The Note. That's all I know of Glasgow meets but I'm easy for venue.

The thing I'm not so easy for is time, turns out I'm away on the 6th, not the 9th. I'm also working a bit until then, so it'll have to be this Sunday or Monday for me to make it When does toksik get back up from London? Is that time (at horrible short notice) good for people? Dunc?

That'd be this Sunday/Monday. Um...... 3rd and 4th. I won't be back from the wedding till the night of the 11th (though I'm not sure quite how late, so perhaps it's still possible).

If that's too short notice, then by all means do something when I'm away. If that's the case, I can always phone you after a shift some point this week and get you to trot two minutes up the road for a pint or two?

I/ we can maybe do Sunday depending on the weather. If it's nice-ish, I'll be off playing in a tent. But if it's horrible, I'll be around. L's going to Amsterdam so it depends how knackered he is when he gets back. Sorry to be so wishy washy! It would be good if we can do it, be good to see everyone.

Blake Head, I hold you entirely responsible for my drookit state yesterday. I pedalled away in pelting rain for three hours before bailing out on my tent plans and coming home to a hot bath. So - I'm around. But his Loomis-ship is still in a furrin land so we'll just have to see how it all goes.
