Blah to Gogol Bordello. It's LIKE World/Inferno, if you took all the hooks out of the songwriting and drowned it in kitsch. Been a confirmed Infernite for 7 years now, and if you have any way of getting to their Halloween show in NYC you absolutely... positively... without any doubt... MUST do so. Of the hundreds of rock shows I've seen, World/Inferno Halloween shows would account for roughly half of the top 10 list.

their guitar player was telling me, over my homemade mead at my kitchen table while i was putting some of their crew up after a show in boston, that when they went to visit gg allin's grave while passing through new hampshire, before they even got a chance to ask the first cemetary worker they saw which way the grave was, he just pointed at it, because that's obviously what they were there for.

Probably the same merch girl they had when I saw them in London- tried to buy a t-shirt, and the merch girl from one of the other bands was like "no, I'm only selling these ones". "Who's selling the World/Inferno ones?" She pointed to a corner where the W/IFS merch girl was slumped unconscious.

They were very nice and sold me one anyway, though.
