I saw this movie today and it was really nice. I donĀ“t know if the people who made this movie had intended it, but many people left and right and yours truly of course where often laughing heartily. Maybe we are a bunch of sick puppies, but those two actors really complemented each other.
The actress had so many facettes, and in the end, it looked as if she really wanted to help the "wolf" to fully comprehend the nature and consequences of his deeds. Because he often seemed quite thickheaded, especially compared to her brilliant mind.
The movie was obviously constructed like an intricate dance, puzzle or a complex chess game. But when such a puzzle, dance or game is really well designed, it transforms into an organic whole. This movie is a good example.
They both seemed so lovable, in all their glorious determined actions, failures and counterstrikes. Even at the very end, I had a lot of sympathy for both of them. This movie has the courage to show us, that people can be monsters and be human at the same time.
This is one of the very few movies, where I actually think about seeing it again in the theatre. |
