So anyway, didn't really have the time or the funds for a proper holiday this year. But some of my friends go to the Kent Beer Festival on a regular basis, so I thought I'd accompany them. It suddenly struck me that you're all filthy alcoholics and so might enjoy this kind of thing.

It runs from Thursday 20th to Saturday 22nd of July. I'm assured there will be a wide variety of beers, ciders, ales and all of that good stuff (plus entertainment, no doubt of the "folk" variety, foll'dee'roll). Camping's possible (I'm suppressing my innate hatred of tents in order to go).
If there are any Barbe-shaped people going (or perhaps decide to go now they're aware of it) then lemme know. Perhaps we meet and drink? Perhaps we finally see who has the better kung-fu? |
