I just came across this and figured some of you lot in Merry Ol' might be interested. John Harrigan of Foolish People is hosting a full day on hypersigils and fiction suits at Treadwells, July 16th. I'd surely be there if it weren't several thousand miles from my home...
-------------------
John Harrigan is a magickian, a transgressive practitioner of boundary-breaking, and his magickal theatre team, FoolishPeople, have been performing their bone-shattering ritual theatre in a chilling series. This is a day working the two core technologies of magick: hypersigils and fiction suits.

Hypersigils and Personal Fiction Suits – A Chaos Magickal Day at the Outer Reaches Sunday, 16 July. John Harrigan,Artistic Director of FoolishPeople, the Occult Theatre Company 11 am – 5 pm Treadwell’s Bookshop Meeting Rooms 34 Tavistock Street, Covent Garden, London WC2

The day will take you through the creation and delivery of a hypersigil, that powerful and experimental form of magick most known from Grant Morrison (‘The Invisibles). As most already know ‘hypersigil’ is an extended piece of artwork, be it a novel, song, dance etc, that is created as a sigil. This sesssion will explore the technologies of effecting their creation and reveal the methods for maximising their effectiveness.

The second working of the day is the creation of a fiction suit with which to experiment within the hyper-reality of the narrative of the personal artistic work that you create. By transforming various aspects of your fiction suit within the hypersigil you in turn work towards working with aspects of the individual personality.

The venue is Treadwell’s Bookshop Meeting Rooms, whose guest speakers and regular customers include Phil Hine, Ramsay Dukes, Zach Cox, members of the the Warp company,FoolishPeople, and various other luminaries of occultism who prefer be be anonymous. On a more prosaic level, Treadwell’s is right near three tube lines and four train stations, on the edge of Covent Garden. Registration is £35.00 payable in advance to Treadwell’s, 0207 240 8906, or info@treadwell’s-london.com. Tea, coffee, refreshments all included.

Yeah, i think that first paragraph was actually commentary by the poster on another forum that I nicked this from. I should have edited it out. I don't think either Treadwells or John Harrigan would suggest that these are in any way "core technologies" of magick.

You're lucky they stopped at your transgressive hedge MC, at least they didn't ritually break your legs;

"FoolishPeople, have been performing their bone-shattering ritual theatre in a chilling series."

Chilling.

I don't know these people or anything about them, here's some links for those ignorant like me.

I can’t scream for the loss of a zombie shadow encased in language. For my eye is torn open. It will never close, I’m too afraid to not see the reality of truth for a second less than necessary. I am ignorant in my need to compromise.

and;
Drowning (baptising) a fairy in a kids paddling pool was truly inspired. I would like to affirm and thank all the Foolish People who took part in Cycle IV. This cycle definately went up to eleven (on a scale of one to ten).

That says it all for me, I imagined the troupe gathered around a miniature stonehenge dressed as pixies. The zombie shadow stuff is like icing on a weird performance art cake.
