I'm listening to it for the second time and really liking it. I like the way there's buildup to the big songs, the opening track is like a sprawling overture for the tighter high impact Sexyback, and he does a similar thing with My Love. The whole thing flows really well, it's much more of a cohesive unit than Justified was, progressing from ultra cold synth stuff to more organic sounding ballads at the end. I'm going to need to give it a few more listens, but so far it's very impressive. |
