Kay, you may be right. Just the same, I think we should be looking at individuals to see what their backgrounds are. If they have committed crimes then they should not be allowed entry. Too many criminals have been allowed in because of our INS. Many don't even use their IDENT systems if they were lucky enouh to be trained on it. There was one story about a guy who taught himself to use it and pass important information along.
People in all levels, including management, have been lax or downright criminal. My own opinion is that maybe the INS should be taken over by the FBI.
The various types of visas are a joke. People get in on a visa and just disappear. This problem should be fixed, too. |
