You may, hell, you have all heard of this guy off the Kanye track "Touch the Sky". Well, he's released an album, which hasn't come over to the UK yet but you beutiful yanks have it already. I just picked up his single "Kick Push" (which can be heard
here) and it's quite the song. Got this ever so melancholoy beat to it, seems so fresh and innocent, maybe even joyous. Man, I love it. So I thought maybe all you crazy kids could do with hearing it, maybe buying it, maybe talking about him.

Yeah, I fucking love that song, especially, and the rest of the album is great too. He's picking up nicely that role Kanye carved out on College Dropout (i.e., before anyone worked out what an arrogant dickwit he was) - thoughtful, playful benz/backpacker etc. And his flow is great. I think I said in another thread that Kick Push is the sweetest rap song I ever heard - in some ways it's kinda like Estelle's 1980, but less obviously a novelty.

His mixtape stuff is worth chasing up, too. He's got a track on the beat from Only U about getting busted by the cops for no reason that's fire. You can soulseek it pretty easy.

Yeah, this album is great. He's got a nice, smooth flow and the beats complement his style perfectly- cool, relaxed, languid. Good stuff. Best tracks on the first listen: "Make Sure," "Never Lies," "No Place to Go" and "Kick Push."

A bit disapointed with the beats, but his lyrics are fantastic, after one listen. And he name checked banksy's attack helicopter. interesting.
