So following Stoat's prescient suggestion that we should grow new threads from the original WoW, this one should serve as a general source point for European Lithers that want to slay, dance and flee together. Those in the US should seek out the other thread.

Currently the rule for the Europe World Of Warbelith is nobody gets above level 15 by Saturday. I'm the lowest, I'm about half-way to level 9. Last time I looked everyone was somewhere between about 10 and 13. So if anyone wants to join, a few hours' grinding and some basic questing should get you caught up with us- it's not a prerequisite but it'd be cool if we could all start doing decent-level quests as a group (I'm aiming for at least 12 by Saturday).

And gnomes are ace.

We gnomes work hard and so have money we can spend on kittens. Also, nice members of our gnome group gave other members some cash so we could afford the felines.

Woohoo! Kay just lent me some cash- turns out I was actually a bit more short of money than I thought, but I should now have enough for a cat by tomorrow, and will definitely have one by Saturday!

Yay for gnomes. And cats.

Thyat was fun, though- just logged on to do some grinding- Tom was there briefly, then Mist turned up and we did some stuff together (mostly with Mist's alt, so he doesn't break the level 15 rule!) then Kay came online too!

Strangely, the only one of you I still have yet to meet in Azeroth is Bear, who is the only one I actually know in meatspace.

Reckon I should be twelve or thirteen by Saturday.

I'm a warrior! I've not really been playing much I think I've just been unlucky with the timing and nobody has been one so I get bored killing boars and end up playing my Hunter (also bored of but now have 2 shiny Dawn's Edges)

So I'm still stuck on ... level 7..

Since the patch I couldn´t get my auctioneer addon to work, so it will take a lot longer than usual for me to make some cash.

Result! I was going to play Warlock, Warrior is fun, but I've always been a caster at heart!

I have absolutely no idea what the AH is like on that server, but taking Skinning and Enchanting (just for dising) is a sure fire way to make 100g by level 40/50, at least on Stormscale it was.

I just got my warlock up to level 40 - big 'YAY' ensued when I just walked up to a quest giver and he gave me a free mount!

While lockpicking, a trap sprung and I got ratnovaed ("You need cheese."), which did not hinder me from successfully opening the treasure chest (it was empty).

We valiantly fought these foul murlocs but they cheated by fighting us through the poop deck.

I used the opportunity of being dead to take a shot of that big bad lizard.

I've been loving this thread (and the US one) and the pics on it so much, that I've gone and bought the bloody game. who needs money and free time?

One quick question - will the game run with 256 Ram.? Some reviews say it will, others not.

We've met up each weekend, and generally if you log in at any time of the day or night during the week you'll see Mistoffelees there. Uh, I mean, you might see one of us there.

I'll give it a try when I get home. I strongly suspect the answer is "yes, but unplayable". Otherwise, I've not really noticed any performance issues at all with the game - no slowdown, no nuffink, except a slight (1-2s) delay when you login during which no other people are visible. Then again, my system is reasonable spec; it'll be interesting to see how it manages with a 256Mb stick. Generally speaking I don't like running XP itself on less than 512Mb...
