I've noticed that a lot of places to show off comic book writing seem more dedicated on showing off the final product then workshopping stories and looking at them as works in progress.
I started a new message board dedicated to workshopping ONLY comic book related material (there's a separate board for non-comic stories) and there's a section for networking, comic art, general chat, etc.
