Pestering Barbelith for Academic Reasons

Well, the day has finally come where my Morrison knowledge has failed me. I've had a chapter accepted in an upcoming book on Superheroes and there are a few quotations that I just can't seem to track down...

This is probably erring on the side of caution, but before clogging up the comic section, I wanted to make sure it would be okay for me to appeal to Barbelith's groupmind in a new topic. Yes? No? If I phrase it nicely and offer witty rejoiners afterwards? Thanks.

I can't speak for anyone else but I personally don't see a problem with it, it's not like you're pimping stuff for cash.

I've no probs with it, and might want to use youse all for some M.Sc. stuff on Computer Mediated Communication later this Summer, so I've actually definitely no problem with it.

Okay. "Schizophrenics can't process metaphor" is my favourite.

Is that true? I don't see why they can't. But is it true?

Thanks everyone. Be prepared for forthcoming questions in the comics section. (Although, as an aside, my favourite Morrison-crazy-interview quotation is still how Superman 'punching through time' is 'superhero poetry'...)

Matt: If you'd read the Iliad in the original Greek, you wouldn't even have to ask that question.

"...the literalism is so rife that nobody seems to be able to deal with symbolic content anymore." (George Morrison)

Hahahahhah!
